The Razorbacks came into Athens with a 2-0 record, and left 3-0 after a hard-fought 28-25 win over the Bulldogs of Georgia.

Trailing 13-7 at the half, Arkansas scored 14 points in the 3rd to take an 8 point lead, 21-13 into the 4th quarter.

Arkansas would struggle with possession, and after a Georgia TD with 3:12 remaining, the Bulldogs trailed only 21-19 after missing the two-point conversion.

Arkansas was forced to punt on their next possession, and Georgia drove the length of the field to take a 25-21 lead with 1:22 left, again missing the two-point conversion.

This is when Ryan Mallett would take over, driving the team down the field, connecting with Joe Adams on a 16 yard TD pass on 4th and 2 to give the team a 28-25 lead with 14 seconds left.
