Army wins again 55-52
airbornerock

Army won this game after a first half shootout, Tulane tried to come back scoring 14 points in the third and 20 in the 4th but they couldn't come up with a win against Glenn Davis and the great Army defense. Glenn Davis is this weeks player of the week in IA Independendts with 320 something yards, He had 4 touchdowns recieving and some rushing including the game winning touchdown. Army was down 48-52 with 2 minutes left and QB 2 drove it down the field to help secure a win.

Arnold Tucker will be back next week as QB 18 had a ok/crappy performance throwing lots of interceptions 1 returned for a td, 1 fumble returned for a td I think. QB 18 is now out of the line out, he says he enjoyed his good game streak and whenever Army needs him again he will be on the double ready.

Next week Army plays Eastern Michigan.

ARMY WINS 47-43 IN OVERTIME!
airbornerock

Army came back and won an awesome game after they were down 14 points. Army down in the second quarter came back with numerous touchdowns, what led to these touchdowns were the great defense making two forced fumbles and recovering both of them. QB 18 had a career day passing for 466 yards breaking the schools record for the game. Glenn Davis broke a record with receptions in a game with 17 receptions. This game went into overtime. "There were times when we were looking bad but we came back and won and this is one of the best games I've ever seen". Says Army head coach. The players are fired up and had an amazing bus ride home. Odds were against as Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit both predicted Army would lose. However a great overtime drive as Army picked defense first, and TAMU got a field goal. Then Army marched down the field and Glenn Davis made the game winning touchdown. A great game that was Army's first national televised game and it sure delivered..

Check back weekly for updates!

Future not looking to good....

ARMY LOSES 51-50 to Akron.
airbornerock

Army is now looking to do some changes to their depth chart after a heartbreaking loss to Akron. Army came back accumulating 16 points in the third quarter, and another 14 in the 4th only too lose with 2 seconds left on the clock. Arnold Tucker star Army quarterback who has led a streak of two wins is now injured for three weeks. This may not seem much but with the performance of the Offense as well as the defense this may seem like an eternity. However we cannot put down the players, as they fought every second they were on the field. "Sometimes you can't win them all, but I am proud of my team for not giving up when they were down so much. But a loss is a loss, and now we have to find things wrong with our team". Says the Army head coach.

The defense of Army right now is not the best, giving up 51 points is not a good way to go. Army beating FCE East 104-6 may have had them sleeping in, until they actually fought quality opponents. Doc Blanchard commented saying "I think we all put up a great fight but in the end we came short".

However it is still early in the season, so let's go Cadets!
