Coach Xavier Boxx made a big splash recruiting wise getting the #11 ranked player on Rivals.com Antonio Boxx. Antonio Boxx is the younger brother of the former Miami star. Antonio Boxx was quoted as saying "I couldn't let X down. I know it's not the ideal team but, I know that we can accomplish something special here." Dade County recieved a special donation by former Dade County alumni Tyquan "Bumpy" Wallace, who recieved 1.7 billion dollars after an accident involve with him at the amusement park FuncoLand. The Pirates are currently building a stadium in Miami named after Bumpy Wallace. The 2009-2010 will have Dade County playing all of their games on the road due to construction of the stadium. Open tryouts were held by Coach Boxx and most of the roster is made of students who tryed out. Expect a long season for the Pirates of Dade County.

Prediction: 0-12
Most of the team is made up of local tryouts from Dade County University. Although they have a absolute stud in freshman FS Antonio Boxx, the overall talent of the team is absolute terrible. They have 20 guys on the roster who has not played football since junior high.
