New Conference New Year

The Miami State Sharks had a dream season last year making it all the way to the National Championship Game, only to lose in an ugly game to Boise State. At the end of the season they lost the team leaders in Passing, Rushing, Receiving and Sacks to graduation and the draft. But they did get out of the Sun Belt after dominating the Conference and moved into the C-USA.
2010 sees a lot of new faces on both sides of the ball there is open competition between 3 QB's. Junior John Hand gets the 1st shot but Sophmore Bryan Beach and True Freshman Albert Bush are breathing down his neck.
Freshman Nathan Simmons has some huge shoes to fill as he gets the starting spot at HB. Simmons was the gem of the recruits this season, he's got some blazing speed and good hands.
On Defense 6 Freshmans get the starting roles. Marcus Grant at LE, Jeremy Livingston at LOLB, Harold Herron ar ROLB, Kelly Richardson at CB, James Clayton at FS and Deandre Kimbrough at SS. With so many new players the Sharks start the season at #38.
