2006 Week 9

Scored early with McGill 1 yard run. With exception to Wake's running game Carolina dominated first half. Wake played with a 3-3-5 defense that Carolina would have burned several times, but drops were a problem with wideouts. Wake scored 2 late TD's in the fourth quarter. Carolina drove down the field on the last drive to the 1 yard line. Two unsuccessful rushing attempts and one passed batted down. On 4th down goaline offense ran with Tight End Rock Wells running out toward wide side of endzone drops pass with not one other player on either team near him. Defense commited to run. Rock Wells is not a starter anymore. Carolina also fumbled 3 times late in the game.
