Tech
The hokies scored 3 TD's and field goal to take an early 24 - 0 lead. Midway through the 2nd quarter Carolina started its passing attack scoring 2 times. Carolina's defense held the scoreless in the 3rd while the offense scored two TD's to take a 28 - 24 lead. Tech scored with a little more than 2 minutes to go in the 4th. Carolina completed one pass on the last drive, but turned the ball over after an unsuccessful 4th down attempt. Tech took a knee and the win.
