Rivals.com --- The recruiting season in college football is just getting underway. Here is a look at the top 10 prospects whom college head coaches everywhere will be fighting for over the next couple months:

1 | QB | Ross Anderson | Orinda, CA | Top 5: USC, LSU, Ohio St, Michigan, Florida

This kid is tall, has a huge arm, and runs like a deer. The ultimate duel threat - similar to Terrelle Pryor.

2 | QB Michael Leamy | Lafayette, CA | Top 5: USC, Texas, Florida, Michigan, ND

Leamy is more of a pocket passer, but he can run. Good arm strength, better accuracy.

3 | RB Reginald Randle | Westminster, CA | Top 5: USC, Florida, Texas, Bama, Penn St

Tall for a running back, but can run you over, run around you, or run past you. Has it all.

4 | WR Jake Francis | Vandalia, OH | Top 5: Michigan, LSU, Penn St, USC, Texas

Very fast, but also a very good route-runner, and can really high-point the ball.

5 | ATH Randy McRae | Pontiac, MI | Top 5: Michigan, Ohio St, Florida, ND, Penn St

6'5", runs a 4.3, and very quick on his feet. Will likely be a defensive back.

6 | RB Myron Thornton | Tucker, GA | Top 5: Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida St, Miami

Not the fastest, but has great balance and very good at breaking tackles. Similar to a Mark Ingram.

7 | TE Gerard Johnson | Van Wert, OH | Top 5: Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St, LSU, Texas

Perfect size, moves extremely well for his size, and will block you. Think a faster Heath Miller.

8 | G Alvin Ferguson | Jupiter, FL | Top 5: Florida, Bama, Penn St, Oklahoma, Michigan

Extremely good get-off, mauling run blocker, good footwork. Better fit for a team like Bama.

9 | QB Raymond Stallings | Daly City, CA | Top 5: USC, Bama, Michigan, Ohio St, Oklahoma

Not ideal size, but has a rocket arm and the accuracy to go along with it. Pro-style QB.

10 | QB Caleb Thomas | Santa Clara, CA | Top 5: USC, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio St

6'7", decent speed, and just as good of an arm as Stallings. Peyton Manning-potential.
