The Oklahoma Sooners opened up the 2007 season with a an impressive display of offensive balance against the Mean Green of North Texas Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium 55-10. Oklahoma ran for 220 yards and passed for 242. It took Redshirt freshman Sam Bradford and company a while to get warmed up, but when they did they put up 38 of their 55 points in the second half. Although North Texas didn't score a touchdown until the final minute of the contest, they did manage to rack up an alarming 363 yards of offense - mostly through the air. Coach Crimson voiced concerns for his secondary, vowing to shape up his men for the upcoming showdown against the Miami Hurricanes.
