Cuse' loses opener

Syracuse outplayed the Wildcats on paper but not on the scoreboard.
NW came out after the opening kick off and hit on a big pass play for a TD. Syracuse players seemed stunned. The orange offense came on the field and drove the ball down the field eating up the clock. The scored on a little swing pass to tie the game up. The defense came back out and once again NW scored easly on them. The defense looks like they need some practice. The orange offense came on again and started to drive. But an ill advised pass turned into a pick 6 for the Wildcats. Cuse' got the ball back and drove again. After another int by NW, NW threw the ball right back the the orange. THe orange got a FG right before half and they were looking good.
Syracuse then took the opening kick off and marched down the field again. This time on a pass to the TE at the 2 yd line, he fumbled before crossing the goal line and NW recovered it in the end zone. All the air left the Syracuse team with that fumbled. The Syracuse offense tried to force things and made bad decisions.
Mistakes killed Syracuse in the 1st game, they will work on this and be ready next week.
