TCU Shuts Down the Buckeyes

TCU got their season underway against the 5th ranked Buckeyes of Ohio State. The Horned Frogs came into the game played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tx as 14 point underdogs but dominated from the opening kickoff. The TCU defense swarmed and harassed OSU QB Dwayne Haskins all game long. Haskins threw two crucial pick-sixes on the day that set the tone for the game. The Frogs offense struggled to get going early but was buoyed by the excellent play of the defense. Ohio State threatened to make it a game in the second quarter but every time they looked like they would trim the lead TCU would come up with a play. The big early season win sets the stage for a big season from the Frogs. TCU plays its home opener next win against the UTSA Roadrunners.
