Central Florida stumped in home opener

The Central Florida Knights started off the season with a crushing loss to the Arizona Wildcats after an early 28-7 lead.. Coach Pete Carroll said "It really hurts to lose a game that you lead by 21 points.. Turnovers really killed us.." despite the loss Junior signal call Blake Bortles had a great game going 23-45 for 495 and 3 scores. Central Florida is idle next week which will give them time to prepare for the Penn State nittany lions.

The UCF Knights redeemed their loss to Arizona two weeks ago with an impressive road win against FBS powerhouse Penn State 34-24.. Pete Carrol On his first collegiate win " It was a whole team effort in earning this victory.. I think each and every player deserves the game ball." The Knights will return home next week to play host with #7 South Carolina.
Tough Loss; Knights fall to 1-2 on the season

The UCF Knights new they were facing a tough opponent in the #6 South Carolina Gamecocks and were plagued by turnovers and failure to convert in key situations en route to a 59-27 loss on their home turf. Coach Pete Carrol on his teams performance " Its tough to compete with a top tier team like the cocks when you turn the ball over whether its fumbles or interceptions.. SoCar capitalized on every mistake and we never got a break to go our way.. We are gonna move on and prepare for our conference opener next week against another strong Cincinatti squad"
Hall expected to play

UCF wide receiver Rannell Hall is expected to be back in action Saturday night against cincy.. Hall "I feel good and Im sure that I am 100% and ready to go" Hall leads the team in Receptions and Receiving yards to this point.
Knights Trounce Bearcats in Conference opener 38-26

The UCF Knights came out fired up after their 32 point shellacking against South Carolina a week ago and played strong D and effeciant offense to a secure a 38-26 victory in their conference opener. The Knights (2-2, 1-0) will play conference foe Memphis next Saturday!
