Utah Avenges 2012 Loss with 31-21 Victory Over Aggies

In the Battle of the Brothers, the Utes successfully avenged their 2012 loss by holding onto a lead that lasted for the majority of the contest.

Utah State, for the most part, played a solid ballgame, but when it mattered, neither their offense or defense could come through. The Aggies main weakness was on 3rd Down, as they finished the game with an awful 2/15 conversion rate. On defense. the Aggies had many bright spots, but 2 rushing TDs off the read option by Utah QB T. Wilson and a late-game 77-yard TD pass were proven to be killers of the Aggies hopes of stunning Salt Lake City.

Utah State heads to the mountains of Colorado to take on Air Force in Week 2.

Zeder Seeks to Lead Utah State to Another Stellar Season

Following the departure of Head Coach Gary Andersen, the Utah State Aggies have quite the season ahead of them. The defending WAC champions will be entering their first season in the Mountain West Conference after the WAC was disbanded.

Led by new Head Coach Jack Zeder, the Aggies appear to be up to the task of matching their impressive 11-2 campaign from the season prior. Zeder seems willing and eager to show the confidence that he possesses in this team and himself.
