Game Notes:.... On a 3rd and 12 with :15 seconds left, Ball State fumbled on an option pitch. However, WKU was unable to recover the fumble.... WR #11 collected his second KR TD of the season (both coming in the second quarter).... the Hilltoppers' 48 points was one less than they had scored in their previous three games combined.... FS #23 caught 4 passes for 205 yards and 3 TD in a quarter of work at wide receiver

Game Notes:.... Virginia Tech's Macho Harris took the opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown.... QB #7 threw 6 interceptions in the game, with two different VT defenders having multi-interception games.... the WKU offense has now scored a combined 7 points in their last two games

Game Notes:.... Western Kentucky's opening possession was a 16 play, 71 yard drive that took 4:14, spanning over 2 quarters. It culminated in their only touchdown of the game.... the Hilltoppers' final drive ended when QB #7 attempted to spike the ball at the Kentucky 14, but the clock ran out while he was spiking it
