Tide Roll over Tigers
The second meeting between the Tide and Tigers turned into a blowout before the half.
Greg Martin tossed three touchdowns and rushed for another two while racking up 416 total yards of offense as Alabama rolled to a 59-36 victory against the Clemson Tigers.
Alabama(1-0) scored the first 28 points of the game while Clemson watched the Tide race up and down the field in the newly revamped Charles Flanagan offense. The Crimson Tide racked up 578 yards of total offense and converted on all seven trips to the red zone.
