CPU RBA and RBK up one to 55 each
HUM RBA down one to 45

30 mph wind is blowing.

Q1. Kansas punts from their end zone, Wrye returns it all the way.
Q2. Golden makes his first real mistake. Instead of scrambling, he forces the pass into the end zone and it is picked off by KU. On the next play, KU's qb forces one into triple coverage and Rodgers comes down with it. On the next play, Golden throws it to the linebacker. Three plays, three picks. On KU's series, Paul Givens picks and returns for a TD. Givens was not given credit for a sack earlier in the game. Guess he was pissed about that.

Sloppy, sloppy game. The teams combined for 14 turnovers. Bleh. Defenses ruled.

Second game in my series of adjusting opponent rush tendency up. I've set Houston's at 75%.

A game that was fought hammer and tongs in the first half became a rout in the 3rd quarter as Marshall's offense surrendered two defensive touchdowns and Pine Bluff scored another TD on a kickoff return.

Tulsa came roaring back in the last two minutes of regulation to throw a scare into a Pine Bluff team that had dominated the game. But PBU survived and moves on.

PBU overcomes costly mistake to beat Pigs

Game Report Posted: September 25, 2009 22:48

Pine Bluff dominated Arkansas but rookie quarterack Mario Pinales nearly gave the game away in the third quarter on his first and only mistake, an interception returned by Razorback safety J. Fox for a touchdown. Fox tipped the pass in the flats, caught his own tip, and had no one in front of him as he streaked for the score.

The Aereoplane was able to drive deep enough downfield to kick a field goal to retake the lead. An insurance field goal with under a minute left helped salt the game away.

PBU over UCF

Backup Loren Roskos suspended 5 games.

UCF (1-0, W1) at Pine Bluff (1-0, W12)

Pine Bluff built the lead brick by brick with five straight Raulio Raz field goals, then Martel Nobles returned a fumble to the end zone to put the game on ice. With the comfortable lead, Mario Pinales was benched and on came Brent Golden, who made a stunning debut with his agility, awareness in the pocket, and strong arm. Have we just found the quarterback of the future?

Bluffs overcome Tigers

Game Report Posted: October 15, 2009 22:07

Pine Bluff had to come back from a 9-0 deficit late in the 3rd quarter. This rainy game was a defensive struggle all the way. Memphis was forced to resort to its 3rd string QB when starting QB went down in the first series with broken ribs.

After the game, the top MLB in the nation, [Edwin Butler] committed to Pine Bluff.

Broncos Fall over the Bluff

Game Report Posted: November 06, 2009 20:11

Western Michigan threw away its chance for a GMAC Bowl win in the first quarter of the game. With Pine Bluff lined up in a Field Goal Block formation, WMU switched to an I Formation and ran a simple streak. QB Charles Harper lofted a quick pass to the goal line, but the receiver was just a half step behind the throw. The ball sailed off his outstretched fingers, and Pine Bluff took over on downs. The Bluff seemed to be in command of the game early on, but Western Michigan controlled the tempo by halftime. Turnovers would be the Bronco downfall though as Harper threw 5 interceptions, two to Paul Givens, and one to Pat Burnette to set up a PBU score. Offensively, PBU was adequate. Brent Golden threw one interception but played an otherwise conservative, heady game.

Plane falls to Wave

Game Report Posted: October 17, 2009 18:50

I brought in a new coach for Tulane just for this game. He was run-based, 80% run, conservative. He kicked my ass! The Wave ran for 179 yards and threw for another 279 while Pine Bluff committed 6 turnovers.
