The Auburn Tigers opened the 2012 campaign on a high note Saturday. The Tigers opened the game with 73 yard drive capped off with a 1 yd. run by A.J. Alexander. Auburn would continue it's dominence of the Arkansas State Indians throughout the day. The much anticipated debut of Freshman quarterback Matt Montgomery left little to question. Matt finished the day just 11 of 13 but for 185 yds, 2 td's, and just one interception. The Tigers would roll up 115 rushing yards combined with a strong defensive effort to take the pressure of the young quarterback.
