Tigers Dominate

On a Saturday afternoon between two SEC foes, Auburn controlled the line of scrimmage and won 26-14. The Tigers defensive front was creating havoc all afternoon as Cameron Newton struggled to fill in for the injured Tim Tebow. The pressure was lead by Sen'derick Marks, who had a monster game with 3 sacks and 5 tfls. Derrick Alexander came up with the game changing play, on a 2 and 8 at the Florida 40, Cameron Newton turned the edge on a speed option to be met by the freshmen linebacker. The ball popped free and Quinton Groves scooped it up and never looked back taking the ball 40 yards the other direction. Two late field goals sealed the win for the Tigers. Up next Florida will face a challenge to stop their losing streak at one against the #2 LSU tigers in Baton Rouge. The Tigers have a date with Vanderbilt at home.
