Yesterday the Golden Eagles squared off against FCS East and came away with a big win. Now in the early going the Golden Eagles struggled to get stops allowing FCS East to keep it close at half score being 21-14. Although the Eagles won things they need to work on man coverage and their passing game as both were lacking this week. Next week they play at home against Wake Forest.

The Golden Eagles were slow out the gate in this matchup but the defense came to play in the second half by keeping Wake Forest off the scoreboard for the remainder of the matchup while the offense took care of the rest.

Graham Suffers First Loss at the Hands of the Trojans

Yesterday the Golden Eagles suffered their first loss on the season. The Eagles fell way behind going into halftime with a score of 24-6. The Eagles did however make a valiant effort to make the comeback falling only 10 points shy of the lead.

Eagles Shock the #8 Seminoles with Stellar Defense

Yesterday the #8 Florida State Seminoles ran into what seemed like a brick wall as the Golden Eagles allowed the Seminoles to only score 3 points in this game. While the defense laid the hammer down on the Seminoles offense the Eagles offense did their part as well outscoring the Seminoles 14-0 in the first half.

BC Stuns #15 North Carolina

Boston College went into Chapel Hill after their previous heart breaking loss to Clemson looking for redemption. Well they got their redemption by not only winning but crushing North Carolina. Sanders probably played his best game all season long throwing for 295 yards and tossing 3 touchdowns, with no turnovers.

Defense Helps the Eagles prevail

The defense of Boston College might have been the only reason the Eagles won this game as they held army to only 14 points while the offense struggled at times and relied mostly behind the leg of J. Sherman to score 20 of the teams 32 points.

Death Valley too Much for Eagles to Overcome

The Eagles went into death valley with a 4-1 record looking good and just could not keep up with the Clemson Tigers falling just 7 points shy. Turnovers were probably the main reason as to why the Eagles lost as Sanders continued to Struggle throwing 4 interceptions.

Hokies too much for BC

The Golden Eagles went into this game with a 5-2 record with losses coming from top teams of USC and Clemson both games be settled in the final quarters. So most people expected for this to be a tightly contested ball game. Well the Hokies blew away every bit of chance of that in the first half outscoring the eagles 30-7 in the first half. Boston College did not have much to answer with either in the second half bringing them to 5-3 on the season.

Eagles Defense Regains Ground After Last Weeks Loss

The Boston College Golden Eagles defense came to play after getting rocked by Virginia Tech. The Eagles defense allowed only 10 points in the first half following it up with only allowing 7 points in the second half.
