IT WAS A DONE DEAL WHEN
In such a thorough blowout, it was arguably a done deal as soon as the first whistle blew. But, if you had to really do a postmortem on this one, I'd say it was a done deal with Idaho's 4th touchdown. They raced out of the gates to a 21-0 lead. It immediately sent us into a passing-only offensive mode, which is the opposite of where we wanted to be. It was ugly early. But even when we finally got up off the mat and marched to our own scoring drive to cut it to 21-7, they responded a couple plays later with another touchdown. It sent the message that we wouldn't be allowed back into this contest.

GAME BALLS
Defensive end Brad Ohrman and defensive tackle Jabar Westerman were pretty much the only members of the team that showed up to play.

KEY STATS
Idaho's defense swarmed us, piling up 8 sacks. And, because we abandoned the run in the 1st quarter (combined with lost yardage from the sacks), we ended the day with -88 yards rushing. Against Idaho. Pitiful.

NOTES
Such an ugly day, nothing really worth noting.
