Wake Forest rallied from a 10-28 deficit and took the lead for the first time with just 1:17 remaining; however, the missed extra point attempt would come back to haunt them. On the ensuing drive, FSU faced a 4th and 18 before QB Jordan Matthews hit WR Josh Forte on three consecutive passes covering 82 yards including the clinching TD.
