2008 Week 7

A close gaem from the begining with Tenn taking the opening drive down the field to the Bulldogs 2 yd line, only to come away with no points. Ga held the Vols on a 4th down play to keep them out of the endzone.
Ga took the lead before the end of the 1st qt with a crossing route play that ended up being a 54yd touchdown. Tenn came right back to knot the game up at 7-7. Then held GA and scored a Fg this time to take the lead, 10-7. Once again Tenn's Def stiffened up and stopped GA. The Vol's offense drove again right before halftime to get another FG. So, at halftime it was Ten -13 GA -7

GA took the Halftime KO and drove for a score to take the lead back, 14-13 . Then the defenses stiffened up again. Holding both offenses. But right before the end of the 3rd Qtr, GA kicked a FG to take a 4 pt lead, going into the 4th qtr.

Tenn took the ball in the 4th qtr and drove once again. But were held to a fg with around 3:30 left in the game. Tenn then held GA to a punt with about 2 min to go. Tenn got the ball back on thier own 35yd down 1 with under 2 min to go. The drove down the field with a couple of big runs up the middle. They only needed a FG. With about 35 sec to go Crompton (Tenn QB) rolled right, tried a pass to the RB out of the back field. Allen came up and picked it off to seal the ganme for GA.

It was a fun game to play..
