Thorn

Clemson, man they are a thorn in our side. They really match up well against us and are really able to exploit our weaknesses. I think that is why we have been struggling against them in recent years. It felt real good early I mean we were up 28-6 and dominating then lightening struck. CJ Spiller broke that long run and the game was never the same. Up until that run they had 10 yards rushing. After the run for the rest of the game they had 150 it just seemed to give them life. We had our chances and didn't take advantage now we have to get ready for Miami and that's all there is to it. Thank You.
Clemson Capitalizes on Tech Collapse
The Jackets started off looking like world-beaters and finished looking like a second-rate girls team. Despite leading 28-3 late in the second quarter Georgia Tech couldn't find a way to win. The defense that had looked so good for the first 5 quarters in the season suddenly looked awful as they allowed 44 points in the last two quarters and two minutes. This pattern of failure to close a teams is becoming an alarming trend as the same thing almost happened the week prior against Texas. Another glaring issue was turnovers. They had not turned the ball over or even been close all season until the fourth quarter they turned it over four times coming down the stretch. With a 10 point lead 4 minutes to play it seemed sealed up until Nesbitt but the ball on the turf. After a missed field goal the game again seemed out of hand until superstar Dwyer fumbled, after a 15 yard run, and Clemson returned it for a touchdown. The next series the Jackets D gave up their second long run of the game a 56 yard rush by backup Harper to lose the game. GT looks to rebound next week in the unfriendly environment in MIami.
