This year the Illini had a stellar season going 12-1 and winning the Sugar Bowl. The Illini fought through injuries losing Daniel Dufrene early in the season, and Juice Williams in the middle, and other off the field adversities to make it one of the most exciting seasons in Illinois Football History! TO top it all off Coach Camara signed a 5 year extension with the school after the season, so many more excellent seasons are on the way.

In a all around solid performance the Fighting Illini took care of the Tennessee volunteers int eh Sugar Bowl. Benn looked extremely impressive with nearly 200 all-purpose yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Illini bounced back to beat Northwestern and move to 11-1. Eddie McGee really struggle throwing 4 interceptions to only one touchdown. The Defense had a big game even with Bo Flowers missing in the secondary.

The Illini lost a heart breaker last night when their late 4th quarter attempt at a comeback failed. The Illini fall to 10-1 and their hopes of a Nation championship are ruined, but the Illini are still atop of the Big Ten so the Rose Bowl is highly likely.

Illinois took care of business in Kalamazoo defeating Western Michigan to stay perfect. Bo Flowers had a huge game with 13 tackles. The Illini will need to stay sharp heading into their match up with Ohio state Next week.

Illinois took over the game against Iowa at home last night totally dominating them on both sides of the ball. Vontae Davis kept up his hot streak with another pick-6, and Eddie McGee looked impressive in his first start as an Illini.

Illini win OT thriller at Wisconsin

The Illini come up big with a win over 24th ranked Wisconsin on the road to pull to 8-0. This game featured a lot of adversity with Sam Carson getting knocked out of the game early, and Juice Williams getting knocked out for the season late in the fourth. Eddie McGee came up big with a touchdown pass to put the Illini up late, but Wisconsin answered with a field goal. In the first overtime Illinois stunned the Wisconsin hopeful when Vontae Davis took a pick over 100 yards for the touchdown and the win.

Illinois had a solid overall performance in their win against Indiana with 3 recruits visiting. Juice Williams got knocked out of the game in the first drive of the second half but Eddie McGee stepped up big and helped the Illini coast to a victory. The defense stepped up big forcing a pick in the end zone and coming up with many other timely stops.

With 22 recruits visiting Illinois takes down Minnesota in an all-around solid performance. Juice Williams had a solid game through the air and on the ground, and Will Judson had over 100 yards receiving. Vontae Davis on defense also had a 90 yard interception return to help seal the game. This win boosts Illinois to 6-0 (3-0) and to the #3 in the polls!

Illinois stays undefeated after defeating Michigan. Illinois again struggled running the ball. Daniel Dufrene went down with a sprained ankle and is not expected back for the rest of the season.

After Blowing a 17 point lead in the 3rd quarter, The Illini barely squeaked one out with a touchdown run by Juice Williams with only 20 second remaining. Overall the offense didn't look to hot, but the defense and special teams came up big to win the game.

The Illini had another solid win against the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Will Judson came up with another punt return touchdown and Juice Williams had his 3rd solid outing of the year.

Illini drop 94 on FCS Midwest

Illinois Had an impressive offensive showing scoring 94 points. The player of the game by far was Will Judson who had 433 all-purpose yards and 4 total touchdowns earning him national player of the week honors. Although the Dragons scored 42 points it should be noted that only 14 of those points were scored against the first team defense who along with the first team offense was replace half-way through the third quarter.

Records numbers were on hand to witness Illinois knock off #7 Missouri. The game was back and forth with both teams having a lot of success on offense. In the end Illinois prevailed after intercepting Chase Daniel on Missouri's final drive.
