Hoosiers Start Slow, End in a Flurry

Game Report Posted: July 06, 2017 00:21

Indiana started off a little slow as the new pieces of the offense were feeling their way out, but Senior QB Andrew Lagow go them moving in a 4th quarter that saw them put up 21 points. North Texas' offense just was not able to keep pace and was hampered by 4 turnovers.

Indiana OLB Marcus Oliver had a HUGE game as he totaled 5 tackles, a sack, an INT and a forced fumble.

Indiana pulls off a comeback and scores with seconds remaining to top off Redding's marvelous day with a win over Bowling Green on the road.

Devine Redding was spectacular as he posted 29 carries for 234 Yds and 3 TD while adding a reception TD as well.

The Hoosiers move to 2-0 on the season and start Big 10 Play in Week 4 as they face off against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

Hoosiers Jump to Large Lead, Almost Blow It

Game Report Posted: July 07, 2017 02:39

Indiana jumped out to a quick 17-0 lead in the first quarter of their Big 10 match up with Rutgers. However, the Knights quickly closed back in to 17-10 at halftime and then tying the game at 20 all in the 4th.

The Hoosiers launched a methodical drive down the field in the final two minutes, capping off the victory with a Griffin Oakes field goal.

Oakes is becoming quite the folk legend in Hoosier-ville as he has won multiple games over the past two seasons with his right foot in the waning seconds.

Indiana (3-0, 1-0) has a BYE in Week 5 before faching off against Northwestern at home in Week 6.

DAMN, DAMN, POOP!

So many turnovers, so many interceptions ruining scoring chances and flipping the field. This game is on me. I screwed up royally time and time again.

Fans Rush Field as Hoosiers Win on 81 Yd TD

Game Report Posted: July 09, 2017 05:53

In a game that saw Indiana turn the ball over 5 times in the first half, play two QB's, see star RB Devine Redding leave the game in the 2nd quarter with a concussion and fall behind 16-3 into the 4th quarter...I wouldn't blame you if you turned the channel.

You, however, would have missed the greatest quarter in Indiana Hoosier history. Yes, it was against 0-6 Purdue. But the feeling you would have gotten watching Andrew Lagow find Isaac James across the middle who would then streak by two defenders and turn the corner untouched for an 81 yard touchdown with no time remaining would have been priceless.

RAWR

DAMNIT man....so many chances to clinch this one. Their FG kicker finally nails one in OT and Griffin Oakes, who hadn't missed a FG all season, comes up 2 yards short on a 50+ yarder himself. Sucks man. Need to take it out on Maryland.
