Navy Outmatched in Blowout

Navy held an early lead off a 46yd run by backup HB Z. Singleton 7-3 but, that would one of the highlights of the game for Navy. Navy's flexbone offense couldn't get going which put QB Enhada in some difficult 3rd and longs. He is predominately an option QB who has a weak arm. The defense was put in many difficult spots where Rutgers would start their drives on Navy's side of the field. I wouldn't stretch to say the Navy defense played well but, they did force Rutgers to 7 FG attempts (converting 6 of them).

Navy came into the season knowing they were quite weak on defense but, expected the offense to play pretty well to keep them in games and limit their opponents T.O.P. Navy went to their backup QB Goss midway through the game as Enhada was struggling mightily. Navy not quite this bad and Rutgers isn't quite as good as this score may represent. Though, the difference of talent on the field is apparent.
