Annapolis: The Navy Midshipmen football team has struggled on the field at times this season, but their recruiting has been red hot. In the past week seven players committed to the class of 2019. This may be a record haul for Coach Rivas.

C Joe Johnson ****
Ranked #187 in the nation and #5 center. Johnson had other offers from Arizona, Air Force, Boston College, New Mexico.

DE R. Christian ***
Green Gem prospect. Ranked #667 in the nation and #64 DE. Potential to have an immediate impact at Navy.

MLB Jon Rivers ***
#810 in the nation. Fasted MLB in the nation. (4.42 40 time)

SS P White ***
#994 in the nation.

G Nick Edmonds ***
#383 in the nation. Strong run blocking lineman, had offers from South Florida, Wisconsin, Rutgers, and Army

FB C Bradley **
Green gem prospect. Rated #2015 in the nation and #30 FB. He is one of the fastest FBs on the board with tremendous upside. An instant impact type player considering Navy's failure to land a FB in last year's class.

Ranked #2560 in the nation. Solid athlete that will surprise in Navy's offense.
