Evanston, Illinois - Randall Bullock rushed for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns and Navy downed Northwestern 43-35 on opening night.
"Guys are blocking their butts off the whole game," Bullock said. "I think that definitely had something to do with it. We pride ourselves on grinding people, and grinding them and grinding them until they don't want to play us anymore. Hats off to my teammates."

Admiral Mack Award
ANNAPOLIS, Md.- Rising sophomore Justin Smith (Orange, NJ) was named the winner of the Vice Admiral William P. Mack Award. Smith is expected to start at center this season, but will have heavy competition from a talented freshman class.
The Admiral Mack Award is presented to the most improved player during spring football drills as voted on by the coaching staff.
The Admiral Mack Award was initiated in 1976 and is named in honor of Vice Admiral William P. Mack, the Naval Academy Superintendent from 1972-75, who was a strong supporter of the school's intercollegiate athletic program.
