Omaha State gets husked in first game

Things could not have gone any worse for the Pioneers. After Nebraska won the toss and chose to return they took the pigskin inside the red zone before a Pioneer defenseman stripped him of the ball. This was one of only a couple good plays of the game for the Pioneers. The Cornhuskers scored on every drive but three - their first drive, a drive in the third quarter, and the last drive of the game, when they ran the clock out. The starting QB completed very few passes and the runningback was even worse. His longest run was NINE yards.
