2010 Week 17

Pitt won their 2nd consecutive Orange Bowl over the Ohio State Buckeyes. Led by quarterback Dexter Davidson, Pitt could win the Big East and another BCS Bowl Win. Next year Freshman quarterback, Steve Newberry, will be the starter for the Panthers. Myles Caragein and LeSean McCoy are big question marks as to whether they will stay for their senior years. Updates will follow soon. Once again, Pittsburgh was placed on probation by the NCAA for 2 more years.

#3. LeSean McCoy drove the team down the field to set up the gamewinning scoring opportunity in the 4th quarter. McCoy finished with 11 touchdowns on the year.

#2. Chris Leak picked off the Buckeyes twice in the game and was named Player of the Game.

#1. Dexter Davidson and Aundre Wright hooked up in the endzone for the game winning score over the Buckeyes in teh 4th quarter of play. Davidson set the NCAA record for best QB Rating at 213.1. Another Pittsburgh player goes down in the NCAA record books.
