SMU looks to defend its latest National Championship in its season opener aganist fourth ranked Cal who are led by their shutdown secondary and fifth year senior Julius Lemon at QB. Surprisingly, SMU cut the favorite to play their QB postion in Kevin Stone. Apperanetly his talent just wasnt enough to hold off up and coming redshirt frosh Roger Phillips. Look for SMU to air it out in in this top five matchup!
