Tide hushes Beaver Stadium for entire game. Tide roll 42-7.
Beaver Stadium,(PA.)- Silent...dead silent. The infamous Beaver Stadium known for being one of the loudest college football stadiums in the nations, was absolutely quiet Saturday afternoon. It was the opening game for both Alabama and Penn St. and both teams looked to start off their season with a huge win. At halftime the Tide had a 35-7 lead over the Nittany Lions. Fans were seen leaving the Stadium in packs. The attendance was 106,228. As of the beginning of the third quarter...the attendance was a stunning 67,125. The Tide continued their slaughter and flew back to Tuscaloosa winners. What is in store for this unbelievable Alabama football squad this year? How about a fourth straight national championship?
