Frustration
Although the game's outcome was reasonable, at least in the score, the absurdities of getting there drove me crazy. First, Tulane's receivers could not hang onto the ball, and UAPB could do no wrong as Bluffies built a 17-0 lead. Then, after a number of slider changes, Tulane's offense got on track, and their defense followed. They became unstoppable for most of the game, and their RB McCullough had a career day. Meanwhile, everything UAPB did resulted in a turnover, be it a dropped pass, an interception, or a fumble on an attempt to safely run out the first half clock.
The good news was that Tulane ran the ball down my throat, rushing 53 times (including 10 sacks) and passing 24 times. Moving the sacks to the passes, that's 43 runs and 34 passes. Excellent!
