A close game turned against Houston twice today. On Houston's first possession, scrambling QB Brandon Washington appeared poised to lead the Cougars to a score, but OLB Bailey intercepted a pass and returned it to near midfield. Pine Bluff scored a few plays later. But the chess match resumed until Washington was injured on a normal hit by Martin just after he released the ball on a 4th down pass attempt.
