Ashland won the opening coin toss, and in the second half, they held the Buckeyes second string offense to 21 points.

Alright, enough with the good parts. This was a blowout for the ages, and proved exactly why teams like Ohio State play cupcakes in the first couple of weeks. Things haven't gone this badly for the Eagles since, well, ever. The program is only a week old, and it's already 100 points in the negative on point differential.

The only real positive to take away from this game are the penalty numbers. Ashland played a disciplined game in between the sloppy tackling and mistimed passing. Only two penalties for a total of twenty yards.

Coach McGee was unavailable for comment after the game. He's probably back in Morgantown already, begging Rich Rodriguez for his old job back.
