Miami's National Championship Chances Over?

Previously #2 Ranked Miami opened the season at home against SEC opponent Louisville. The results were less than ideal. Louisville RB Jeremy Wright rushed for 210 yards in the shocking upset. The Hurricanes have fallen all the way down to #14. It is still plenty of time for the Hurricanes to recover.
#4 Alabama Opens the Season Against #7 Texas Tech

After being off the past two weeks, Alabama will open the season at hom against Texaas Tech. This will be a tough opening game for the Crimson Tide, as Texas Tech has one of the best defenses in the country. Led by Tony Smith and last years Lombardi winner Deion Hawkins, Texas Tech is hoping to come away with the win and start the season 2-0.
Defending Champs Georgia stumbles against #6 Virginia Tech; Ramsey injured

#1 Georgia suffers a tough blow, as they lose at home against # 6 Virginia Tech 34-28. Adding to the lost is the fact that JR QB RJ Ramsey was injured late in the game. Reports are coming out that Ramsey has suffered a torn shoulder that could sideline him 6-8 weeks. This lost and injury could really affect Georgia's chances of repeating as National Champs.
