Mack Brown in Trouble

After a disappointing 2011 and now a big loss to 2-4 Ole Miss, Texas Longhorns coach Mack Brown suddenly finds himself on the hotseat. Texas AD Chad Bigory was non-commital about the future of Brown. Texas is 4-2, 3-1 in conference play, and plays TCU next week in a Big 12 contest.
Stanford Leaps to #1

The Stanford Cardinals are the new #1 team in the country. Led by Heisman Contender Andrew Luck, Stanford went on the road and defeated #8 USC 32-29. Andrew Luck was the Heisman favorite last year before breaking his collerbone early in the season. Luck returned for his senior year and has Stanford eyeing a National Championship. Stanford's next game is against 3-5 Arizona St.
Ole Miss Upsets Bama After Huge Comeback

#4 Alabama suffered a shocking lost at home to rival Ole Miss after leading 34-14 going into the 4th quarter. Ole Miss RB Devin Thomas rushed for 4 TDs, 3 of which came in the 4th quarter comeback. This is terrible timing on the lost for Alabama as the BCS rankings have been released this week.

#2 Florida loses to in state foe USF 31-19. This was Florida's first lost of the season. After being in C-USA last year, USF has mad their presence known. The Bulls have jumped to #19 in the rankings with a 5-3 record.
Georgia vs Stanford in National Championship

The Stanford Cardinals and the Georgia Bulldogs will face off in the national championship.Stanford is coming off a PAC-12 Championship victoru over Oregon St., while Georgia is coming off a last minute win Maryland.It should be an exciting Championship game.
