The Stanford Cardinals and the Georgia Bulldogs will face off in the national championship.Stanford is coming off a PAC-12 Championship victoru over Oregon St., while Georgia is coming off a last minute win Maryland.It should be an exciting Championship game.
Mack Brown in Trouble

After a disappointing 2011 and now a big loss to 2-4 Ole Miss, Texas Longhorns coach Mack Brown suddenly finds himself on the hotseat. Texas AD Chad Bigory was non-commital about the future of Brown. Texas is 4-2, 3-1 in conference play, and plays TCU next week in a Big 12 contest.
Stanford Leaps to #1

The Stanford Cardinals are the new #1 team in the country. Led by Heisman Contender Andrew Luck, Stanford went on the road and defeated #8 USC 32-29. Andrew Luck was the Heisman favorite last year before breaking his collerbone early in the season. Luck returned for his senior year and has Stanford eyeing a National Championship. Stanford's next game is against 3-5 Arizona St.
Ole Miss Upsets Bama After Huge Comeback

#4 Alabama suffered a shocking lost at home to rival Ole Miss after leading 34-14 going into the 4th quarter. Ole Miss RB Devin Thomas rushed for 4 TDs, 3 of which came in the 4th quarter comeback. This is terrible timing on the lost for Alabama as the BCS rankings have been released this week.

#2 Florida loses to in state foe USF 31-19. This was Florida's first lost of the season. After being in C-USA last year, USF has mad their presence known. The Bulls have jumped to #19 in the rankings with a 5-3 record.
Cowboys Upset at Home

In a stunning turn of events, the #2 team in America, the Oklahoma St. Cowboys, lost at home to conference foe Missouri. The previously Cowboys now fall all the down to #12 in the polls. Georgia, who remain undefeated after a win over Auburn, now leaps up to #2 in the polls.

#8 LSU will have to travel to Florida to face the #2 team in the nation in Florida St. This will be a big test for both teams.
Is UCF Legit?

After #4 Wisconsin lost this week to Iowa St, UCF Knights have moved to the #3 spot. The question now is how legit is this squad. The Knights, coming off a 45-3 victory over winless Memphis, is now undefeated with just two games left on their schedule. Led by Heisman canidate Latavious Murray, UCF is hoping to make it to the National Championship. Is UCF legit? I guess while find the answers in the near future.
FSU faces Another Big Test

After a disappointing home lost vs LSU, Florida St will have to travel to Alabama to face the #1 ranked Crimson TIde. LSU was down by 21-10 with 10:26 left in the 4th quarter when freshman Derwin Adams threw two touchdown to give LSU the 22-21 win. Florida St wll have to quickly recover from the disappointing lost.

Alabama proved why they are the #1 ranked team in the country as they beat FSU 48-10. Aaron McCarron had a field day as he threw for 5 touchdowns. For Florida State, it doesn't get easier. After losing two straight games to top 10 teams, they now will once again have to face a top ten in #5 Mississippi St. We'll see if they have a better result then this past week.

The biggest shocker is that two NCAA powerhouse in Norte Dame and Florida State has been demoted.

The Georgia Bulldogs are the 2012 NCAA Champions after a 42-30 victory over the Stanford Cardinals. The game wasn't as close as the score shows as the score was 35-3 at the half. Stanford scored two late TDs to make it look respectable but, Georgia dominated for the most part. The Georgia defense intercepted Andrew Luck three times in the victory. The MVP was Aaron Murray, who threw for 4 TDs and no interception.

#1 Ohio State loses at home to #6 Iowa in a Big Ten Showdown. After a scoreless first half, the Buckeyes jumped to a 10 point lead. Iowa then, returned a interception back for a TD late in the 3rd quarter. With 7.56 left in the game Iowa RB Wienke ran in for a three yard touchdown, in what proved to be the game winning score.
