In a game that went back and forth with a few ties - including 21-21 coming into the 4th quarter - North Carolina took a 10 point lead due to Florida State's inability to stop the run. Star QB Todd Trotter stepped up and lead the Seminoles to two scoring drives in the last three minutes. The last final score was an impressive catch and run by senior WR Kelvin Hester with just 41 seconds remaining.
