#1 Georgia Tech keeps on rolling, 56-33

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:01

These jackets look unstoppable, as Novacek looks primed to grab the Heisman. Next week, a date with top ten Duke that may be an early game for the title.

#1 Jackets shut down Wolfpack, 24-0

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:15

2nd straight shut out speaks volumes on how good this defense is becoming. The offense may get a lot of the credit but this defense may be just as good.

#1 Jackets win shootout over Heels, 50-35

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:20

First win over UNC in over four years is pretty remarkable. What this team has done under Coach Copeland is remarkable. If they keep rolling like this, there is no team they can't beat. The road to the National Championship goes through Atlanta.

#1 Jackets crush Cavs, 52-28

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:29

Heisman frontrunner Herb Novacek tosses 3 more TDs in a rout of Virginia. The season finale against Wake Forest is all that stands between Georgia Tech and the National Championship game.

#1 Georgia Tech is headed to NC Game, with 28-0 over Wake Forest

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:38

Undefeated season! Ranked #1 in all the land! Copeland is a genius. A heisman finalist and a Heisman winner on the same team? What a season. What a job by Copeland. But it's over yet, there's still one game left.

#1 Georgia Tech edges #2 Oregon 44-43 to win National Championship

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:58

Heisman winner Novacek proved himself as he threw a late TD to put the Jackets on top. Oregon couldn't respond. It was a nail biter of a game. Everyone played their hearts out. Hats off to Coach of the Year Copeland. This could not have been achieved without you. He completely changed the direction of this program in three short years. It is an absolutely amazing job and he is receiving national recognition for it.

Congrats Georgia Tech! We won!

#1 Georgia Tech crushes Duke 20-3

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:06

Offense didn't do too much surprisingly as defense was suffocating. Duke never stood a chance. Not much standing in Tech's way, just a date with UNC in a couple of weeks.

#1 Georgia Tech pitches a 24-0 shutout of Maryland

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 09:11

Defense played strong again today and got the shutout. This team is scary good right now. Although Novacek and Rosenbach have slowed down of late.

Rosenbach runs for 5 TDs as #1 Jackets roll

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 08:44

5 TDs from Rosenbach, 350+ yds passing from Novacek. It's a good day to be a Yellowjacket.

#1 Yellowjackets escape on GW FG

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 08:56

Cardiac Jacks are back. What a great team effort against a very underrated Ohio State team. Watch out these Jacks are for real.

#1 Georgia Tech routs Miami (OH) 58-29

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 08:50

Novacek throws for 5 TDs and almost 500 yds. Don't look now but we may have the heisman frontrunner on our team. This team looks hungry and motivated. Very scary for the opposition.

Novacek primed to lead #1 Yellowjackets

Season Report Posted: December 29, 2012 08:30

Georgia Tech is primed for another run at the ACC crown but it will be no easy task. Three year starter Walker has moved on to greener pastures. But is replaced by SR QB Herb Novacek who tore things up in the JUCO ranks and is poised to lead this team. SR RB Matt Rosenbach has elected to postpone the NFL Draft another year and returns to Tech with a mission. The pieces are in place. Is this Georgia Tech's year for not only a repeat ACC crown but perhaps the National Championship?

#1 Jackets hang on 30-23, over Rockets

Game Report Posted: December 29, 2012 08:40

A close call at home but Novacek looked sharp in his 1st game as a Yellowjacket. The Jackets can do big things this season if he and Rosenbach continue to produce.
