2009 Week 10

Despite the "coaches poll" who must have slept through this game because of the minimal movement in the polls (3 spots), the #21 Iowa Hawkeyes went into Ohio Stadium just planning to keep the game close. Not only did they do that but they shutout the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes at Ohio State's homefield! The Media rewarded the Iowa Hawkeyes by moving the Iowa Hawkeyes up to #9 in the polls. The coaches only moved the Hawkeyes up three spots to #18. Pelini said this when asked about the coaches poll. "I don't know if they all have their head up their asses but I know that we not only beat the #1 team in the nation but we shut them out." "I want to thank the Media for getting it right and I believe that they did by putting us up to #9 in the polls". Hopefully, the coaches will wake up from their obviously nap during this game and realize we're a team to be reckoned with."
