Ohio State walks away with top-25 conference win over Northwestern.
#4 Louisville upset by Temple in overtime!
Mississippi State upsets LSU in battle of top-25 SEC teams.
Texas dominated Iowa State defensively, wins 38-0.
UMass Blows MAC Opener
Tied up at 10 a piece, Mike Wegzyn throws an untimely interception with less than a minute to go in the first half on UMass' side of the 50, leading to a big touchdown right before the half. From that point on, it was all down hill for the Minutemen. Four turnovers later, Bowling Green put a hurtin' on UMass to the tune of 38-17. Adding injury to insult, starting HB Jordan Broadnax was injured late in the game. The diagnosis is broken ribs that will sideline him for the rest of the season. This should allow other backs to step up in his absence.
