The final score of 118-19 in favor of NC State says about all there is to say. Pittsburgh managed one offensive touchdown and a 100-yard pick 6, but otherwise it was all Wolfpack in this ACC clash.

NC State stormed into Tuscaloosa and shutout Alabama in a dominating defensive performance led by Senior Linebacker, Eric McKeon.
The Wolfpack's offense was led by Junior QB, Ryan Alfred, starting in his first game. Alfred threw for 4 TDs and over 300 yards, as the Wolfpack offense was stymied on the ground all day by the Tide defense.
