Key player: Josh Snyder picks off a hitch pass and returns it 40 yards to the 2-yard line, setting up Bobby Martin's run for the first score of the game.
The skinny: After having gone all wimpy against the two good teams on the schedule, the defense does the really honorable thing and makes itself look good by torturing the lousy teams ... like K-State. The Wildcats get only 189 yards total offense.
Recruiting: Mustangs take time out from loading up on defensive recruits to get two big-time runners: Will Gold and Tyler Lane.
