Coach Graham gets first win as Mustangs Head Coach

In what was sloppy matchup the Mustangs beat the Texas Tech Red Raiders 13-3. It was quite an amazing defensive performance as the Mustangs intercepted the Red Raiders QB five times. Coach Graham stated, "the defense really helped us out enough to try and get offense corrected for next week". The Mustangs really lucked out that they didn't need their offense but they better shape up for next week.

SMU takes care of business with FCS West

SMU took care of business on their home field defeating the FCS West 35-3. In his postgame press conference Coach Graham said: "I was proud of the way our guys went in and took care of business on both sides of the ball, it gives us a good foundation to work with moving forward." When asked about his thoughts about the improvement from the offense since week 1 he said "You know sometimes you have slow weeks and then the next week you are on fire we hope we can get a little more consistent with our performances as that's the key to winning. The SMU defense also clocked in another outstanding performance by not allowing a touchdown and forcing 4 turnovers. This defense might be what helps this team get far.

Mustangs win wild one in College Station

The Mustangs pulled off an incredible upset against the aggies knocking them off 31-24. C.J. Sanders pulled in the game-winning touchdown and taking it 81 yards as time expired!

Mustangs Crush Rival Horned Frogs

The Mustangs took the TCU Horned Frogs out to the woodshed on this one routing them 55-16. This marks another win for the Mustangs in the battle for the Iron Skillet.

Mustangs Crush the Scarlet Knights

The SMU Mustangs proved to be too much for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The Mustangs defeated the Knights 40-3 improving the Mustangs Record to 5-0. It's an exciting time to be a fan of SMU football as Coach Graham is having an incredible start to his regime.
