Vols invade Tuscalosa

Game Report Posted: December 03, 2008 19:49

Reporter-The Vols came in having lost the last three to the Tide. The Vols had diffrent plans today. It did get ugly at first as Bama jumped on top 14-0 with 3:00 left in the first quater. Then a 44 yrd td pass for Carrol to Stewart put the Vols with in 7. Later in the 2cd Haumiller came up big with a 52 yrd int return for a td. Bama was never able to rebound as the Vols end a three game losing streak. Coacg Terry-It was the biggest win of the season to me. I was happy to see Kelvin play so well after throwing his 2cd pick of the season. He did not get rattled or upset he juts focused. Thats the best thing about this team is they work hard and focus. Coach Caldwell-I was verry proud of Kelvin playing on the road and not letting the pick bother him. We are really improving on offense and only getting better. Kelvin-I was a little upset with my self when i threw the int, but i knew that my team needed me to play good so i just did my best to get it out of my mind. Reporter-Coach Terry is now 7-7 all time vs Bama. This was the one he wanted to win the most this year.

Fresh start for Vols offense

August 10, 2039

Season Report Posted: December 01, 2008 11:47

The Vols have Great talent on offense, and a new Offensive cordinator also. Jason Caldwell was OC for North Texas last year and coached Kevin Lloyd the Heisman winner. But Vol fans know him as a former Vol. He was the Vols QB from 2021-2024, and started his last 2 years. He led the Vols in 2023 to a undefeated season and a SEC title and Sugar Bowl victory. Coach Terry- With him playing QB here and in the NFL, he should be able to get our telented QB's where we need them to be.Josh Caldwell-Its an honor to be here again and coach these verry talented Tennessee QB's. This is what I call home. Reporter- It should be an interesting season for the Vols. Coach Terry also got his son James JR this season the 5 star Half Back for the Vols. Its Football time in Tennessee.

Drained the Swamp!

Game Report Posted: December 02, 2008 11:58

Reporter-There has been some great games in this rival, this may be one of the best. The Vols dominated the whole game stat wise but couldnt finish drives. There were 2 late tds that we thought would be the game winner, but the Vols had diffrent plans. The gators scoed a td with 35 Seconds left, but Jason Mitchell's 55 yrd catch to the 13yrd line gave the Vols hope. The verry next play Kelvin Carroll who played great threw a game winning td with 11 sec left. A fumble on the kickoff put the nail in the coffin, as the Vols win there third str8 and drain the Swamp. Coach Terry now becomes 8-2 vs the Gators. Coach Tery-I cant say enough of how well Kelvin has played this year. Also how much better our offense is with Josh as ther OC here.Reporter-The Vols host the Georgia Bulldogs next week, and it should be a great game.

Offense is back

Game Report Posted: December 01, 2008 19:03

The big ? for Tennessee would be is there offense going to be good again. With big struglles last year could new OC Josh Caldwell help turn them around. Well i thing this game answered all ?. The Vols scored 59 points and had 3 backs score a td,2rush for 100yds,and 1 rush for 200yds. There first 200yrd rusher in 5 years since Nick Rawls.Coach Terry-Clearly this is what we was looking for. We got our swagger back. Josh Caldwell-Im verry proud, and also i can breath now. With all the hype surronding us to get on the right track, it is hard knowing what to expect. Reporter-Next week the Vols go to Gainsville looking for there 3rd str8 win vs the Gators. The last time they was in the Swamp, the Vols scored 69 points. You know the Gators will be angry.
