2044 Week 4

Joe Means-The Vols picked up a huge win tonight over the Gators in the Swamp. It wasnt a good start but a preety finish. The Gators ran the opening kick off back for a td. The Vols how ever scored 5 tds on 6 first half drives and only turned it over once with no punts. It was 35-14 at the half. The final score was 49-14. Greg Newton threw for 5 tds, 279 yrds and 2 ints. It was the 4th straight win for the vols over the Gators. Looks like last weeks loss was just a fluke and the Vols are looking forward to Idaho State next week. Coach Terry- It was a huge win and hopfully gave us a spark and got us back on track. Newton was amazing really every one was amazing and im proud of them. Good win but we cant settle for this we have to get better and play hard because we got some real tuff teams to play. Joe Means- FR HB Ferguson had his first start and it was a good one. He rushed for 134 yrds 5.1 yrds a carry and had a 48 yrd td run in the 2cd quater. It was hes only score.
