UT 41, Oregon 17: Antonio Mitchell sets a school record with six sacks among his 15 tackles. Holy cow.
UT 30, Washington State 7: Some spread gets added to the offense and Carlos Burke passes for 226 yards and two TDs and runs for 45 more. Freshman TE Greg Jansen catches both TDs.
No. 3 Florida 41, UT 17: Close game becomes a rout in the fourth quarter thanks to a pair of pick-sixes.
No. 15 South Carolina 38, No. 17 UT 34: Vols (5-2) up 31-21 entering the fourth, then collapse. Gamecocks slip a receiver behind the corner back on a go route with the strong safety cheating up, hit a 61-yard TD pass with 8 seconds left.
Chick-fil-A Bowl: UT 44, No. 13 Boston College 26: Corey Duncan rushes for a school-record 320 yards on 31 carries with five touchdowns, another UT mark, to lead the rout. Vols finish 10-3, No. 6 in nation.
Duncan rushes for 1,521 yards.
Carlos Burke passes for 2,112 yards and 17 TDs with 15 INTs.
DE Antonio Mitchell gets 16 sacks and is named first-team All-America along with freshman OLB Troy Lamb, who is named linebacker of the year.
