UT 37, No. 13 BC 14: Vols open the season against the team they beat last season in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, with Corey Massey rushing for a team-record six touchdowns.
No. 5 UT 82, No. 11 Georgia 79 (6 OT): Vols cruise to 21-0 first-half lead, so Coach Nibble sims the rest of the game. What follows is insane, as Georgia (4-2) forces OT and only falls after Carlos Burke hits Brent Martin on a 23-yard TD pass in the sixth overtime. There go the Vols' defensive rankings. Cory Massey rushes for 187 yards and five TDs, and Burke throws five TDs.
