Coach Toner gets his first win of the season against the Utes. The Aggies came into the game not even being considered to win this game. Coach Toner wasn't even alive that last time the Aggies won the Battle of the Brothers. The Aggies started the game horribly with three interceptions and Coach Toner had no choice but to put the back-up
Diondre Borel in. He made the right choice. Borel success wasn't through the air. His success was running the option and just controlling the offense. Coach Toner had to say this after the game, " I would not be surprised if you folks see Borel start the next game against Idaho. " The real surprise was how well (RB) Chris Forbes ran tonight. He ran for 178 Yards for two touchdowns. The Aggies will play the Idaho Vandals next week.
