Out due to injury:
Jenkins, Jackson, Toatley
Weather:
Heavy rain, afternoon.
UAPB receivers did not come prepared to catch the ball today. They were consistently dropping sure 3rd down conversions - Nelson, Osa, Frazier, JAM (for a sure TD), Nelson again, Osa twice more. Osa, in fact, set a new single-game record for making dawg lift his eyes up to ponder the texture of the ceiling: 5 official drops.
FAU got a very questionable call on their 3rd score. Their receiver clearly caught the pass out of bounds, but when I challenged it, even though the replays showed his feet were out, the play stood.
Rasheed Salas returned a punt 78 yards for a TD when an alley opened up on the sideline and he hit it just right. But FAU struck right back with 77 yard kick return. That was a pretty disgustingly cheesy thing.
